Sanitize!
First step - acquire a disinfectant that kills both viruses and bacteria.  For instance, Chlorine bleach, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are all effective microbe destroyers.
A convenient solution - disinfecting wipes you can buy in any store
Don't want to spend the money - paper towels and rubbing alcohol works too
Remember to Disinfect on a Daily Basis

Remember to saitize your cell phone too!  50% of all cell phones are contaminated with bacteria.    We hold them against our faces, breathe on them, touch them with dirty hands and then put them in our nice warm pockets.
